Mason Bindemann

Audit accountant. Student government gadfly. LAN organizer.

Mason Bindemann

I study accounting at Ohio State, with audit experience at Dean Dorton and Frank, Rimerman. But I’m most proud of what I’ve built: a student journalism site that broke real stories, and a 450-member LAN org I scaled through personal follow-up. I care about systems, follow-through, and finding the signal in the noise.

Generally Assembled

A student journalism project I launched to hold Ohio State’s student government accountable. My reporting on the 2025 election crisis drew over 2,000 readers, prompted coverage by The Chronicle of Higher Education’s Emma Pettit, and received praise from Wall Street Journal editorial board member Kimberley Strassel.

Lanarchy

A student organization I founded to bring back in-person multiplayer gaming, the kind where everyone plugs in and plays shoulder to shoulder. I built it from scratch in 2024 and grew it to 450 members in under a year. I tracked attendance with a homegrown Excel CRM and used it to remember names, follow up, and turn folks into regulars.
